HYGGE – PLANT LOVER

Happy Monday my beautiful friends!

Sharing a little decor inspiration with you today – my plants and flowers obsession is only getting stronger haha! Over a year ago I started incorporating flowers into my daily life, fresh and on prints, and it’s true, flowers make any day a better day! Because we were traveling a lot I wasn’t able to grow plats into out apartment, except cactuses lol. But since Pinterest and Instagram is all about plants, I knew I had to give them a try. So far so good, but wait until traveling we’ll be a daily routine haha. Fingers crossed they will make it till Winter! Something else I want to share with you is the concept of HYGGE! Yes, sounds strange, it’s a Danish word meaning: A quality of presence and an experience of belonging and togetherness. It is a feeling of being warm, safe, comforted and sheltered, intimate and connected. A feeling of belonging to the moment and to each other.

I am so HYGGE right now you guys! I highly recommend you read The book of Hygge by Louisa Thomsen Brits about the Danish art of living well. I totally relate to all the principles shared in the book and I want to start practicing! I’ll also share them with you one by one, of course.  And because Hygge is also about fully inhabiting a moment without feeling compelled to record it, I decided to take a short break from ALL social media, to hygger! 🙂 I just want to enjoy life, without everybody knowing about it! I want to drink my tea, light my candles and just read in our beautiful living room. I want to enjoy a good movie with my husband and just relax together. I want to stop scrolling through Instagram and compare myself. I want to cook and get better at photography. I want to find new ways to create amazing content for you guys. I want to LIVE!

Don’t worry, I am not taking the break because I am unhappy, but because I am happy! 🙂

With that being said, I’ll talk to you guys, hopefully very soon! Bisous my sweet friends!
